Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’ve always been fascinated by the earth and environment, with my main focus being improving environmental education and communication. Last summer, I graduated with a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Birmingham, and I’m currently taking a year out to work with multiple environmental charities, before doing my masters next academic year! In my spare time I love to read, watch films, go on hikes and walks along the sea, cooking, and playing the saxophone.
What do you enjoy most about working for Another Way?
I really like how supportive the team is, so even if some of the work may be remote, it still feels like there’s a community.
Which environmental topics are you most excited about?
There are so many, but for me, nature-based solutions to climate change, circular economy innovations, and climate justice and community resilience are some that I’m super enthusiastic about.
What are some small steps you take to create a more sustainable lifestyle for yourself?
I really try to be careful with how much I buy/consume, by instead borrowing from others or being creative and challenging myself to learn how to make what I need. I was given a sewing machine for Christmas so learning how to sew has been my latest project!
