Our own research revealed that many young people believe false narratives around climate change, such as the idea that it’s too late to do anything, that they’re too young to make change, or that someone else needs to act first. Our workshop is here to bust these myths, flip the script on climate change, and show young people that the planets needs them!
As a group, we’ll debate some of these beliefs and see if they hold up to scientific scrutiny. We’ll have a go at ranking effective climate actions – but be prepared to be surprised! You may discover that some of the most impactful actions are those which are within easy reach, even as a young person. By the end of the session, young people will be armed with the positivity, knowledge and facts needed to tackle both the climate crisis and misinformation head on.

Our workshops are backed by leading climate and education scientists, and are just the right blend of inspiration, information and interaction. Students who have taken part in our workshops have gone on to start their own initiatives, fundraising events and volunteering positions.
Everyone has a part to play in climate action, so it’s important to us that our workshops are accessible to everyone. We’re adapting our workshops for SEND schools, and working with our Youth Advisory Group to ensure that our activities reflect the needs of all young people. Workshops are fully funded for state schools and most youth groups, and are designed for KS3-KS5.
