What exactly is a green career? The answer might surprise you! In our Green Careers workshops, we inspire students with the myriad ways they can use their talents and passions to change the planet, no matter which career pathway they choose. We’ll develop their skills and confidence with real-world activities, including designing innovations and businesses to solve global problems, giving presentations, and crafting CVs to secure their dream role.

WORKSHOP ACTIVITIES
Find your ‘ikigai’ within the climate movement: ikigai is a Japanese word which refers to the sense of wellbeing which arises from fulfilling your own unique purpose and passion.
Careers scavenger hunt: the challenge here is to search for the green careers cards hidden around the room, solving trivia questions as you go.
Get innovative and pitch a green start-up to tackle the threats to our planet.
Problem solving role play: imagining yourself as the architects, urban planners and water managers of Fossil Fuel-Topia, how can you work together to transform this city into Sustainable-Topia?
Finding the pathway to your dream green career.
Our workshops are backed by leading climate and education scientists, and are just the right blend of inspiration, information and interaction. Students who have taken part in our workshops have gone on to start their own initiatives, fundraising events and volunteering positions.
Everyone has a part to play in climate action, so it’s important to us that our workshops are accessible to everyone. We’re adapting our workshops for SEND schools, and working with our Youth Advisory Group to ensure that our activities reflect the needs of all young people. Workshops are fully funded for state schools and most youth groups, and are designed for KS3-KS5.
