Overview – Another Way

Another Way is a charity founded by Amy Bray in 2019, when she was 16. We educate and influence those around us, inspiring all to live with kindness towards our planet. We are youth-led with a multi-generational appeal.

We are scaling fast, particularly as our Power of 10 app grows, extending our community of young changemakers.

Role headlines

The Graphic Design and Illustration volunteer will help to bring our educational resources for young people to life by creating icons and illustrations on environmental themes. The resources you design will reach hundreds of young people on our app and through school workshops, inspiring them to make a change.

Role details

Design Development

  • To support the Power of 10 manager in the design of new elements for use on our resources. This includes small icons, larger visual representations of ideas and other ad hoc projects
  • To help translate and develop flow charts and graphs for ease of use to illustrate our scientific information
  • To be influential in the design and styling of new imagery to compliment the Power of 10 resources
  • To develop new design elements for our new resource packs
  • To design gamification elements for Home Challenges and other resources
  • Designing posters
  • Optional: social media graphics

About the role

  • 4-10 hours per week, flexible
  • Voluntary role
  • Remote working
  • You will be part of a dynamic, committed team making a measurable difference
  • We welcome and prioritise applications from young people, people who have experienced socioeconomic disadvantage and those from global majority groups.
