In discussions with Friends of the Ullswater Way, a charity which celebrates the iconic landscape and the rich heritage of the Ullswater valley, Helen came up with the idea of Ten Thousand Daffodils.
Living in the Ullswater Valley she immediately thought of Wordsworth’s daffodils.
In his famous poem he talks of 10,000 saw I at a glance, a host of golden daffodils, fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
